Harvey Nash cautious in spite of profits rise

Harvey Nash reported strong interim results but said the shocks the markets had suffered in the past few days had left serious questions hanging over the entire recruitment sector.

The IT and executive focused recruitment and outsourcing group reported a 25 per cent rise in pre-tax profit to £3.9m on the back of a similar rise in net fee income to £33.3m.
