Hacker takes extradition fight to Strasbourg

A British computer hacker wanted by US authorities for infiltrating dozens of military networks in the wake of the September 11 terror attacks will take his battle against extradition to Strasbourg after losing an appeal on Wednesday at the House of Lords.

Gary McKinnon, 42, has been accused of carrying out the “the biggest ever military hack” after breaching a string of US government networks from a north London bedroom.
