Cameron attacked by business for his priorities

David Cameron came under renewed attack from business yesterday as employers accused the Conservative leader of a "bizarre" rejection of the importance of wealth creation.

The British Chambers of Commerce hit out in response to a pledge by Mr Cameron on Friday that a Conservative government would prioritise families in any "collision between our wealth as a nation and the wellbeing of families". The BCC reacted angrily to Mr Cameron's emphasis on the "overriding corporate responsibility" of employers to lessen their perceived conflict between profits and the family.
