M&A The Brenninkmeijer family, owners of the C&A retail group, have offered to buy out other investors in Englefield Capital, the UK private equity group, which include City heavyweights such as Lord Myners, Lord Hollick and Sir John Rose.
The unusual move comes after the Brenninkmeijer family decided to acquire Englefield Capital LLP, the company that manages the fund, from its founder Dominic Shorthouse, who is leaving to set up a new private equity firm.
