High roller’s chips on the Blues

Carson Yeung, the casino tycoon based in Hong Kong, has made an £81.5m offer for Birmingham City. He has been trying to gain control of the Premier League football club for the past two years.

Birmingham City’s major shareholders – David Sullivan, David Gold and Ralph Gold – who control 50 per cent of the club, have already accepted the offer.
