ABC Learning moves to reassure market

ABC Learning Centres moved to reassure the market it had not lost the support of its banks on Wednesday when it said it was in talks with “key stakeholders to secure the future of the company’s operations”.

The indebted childcare learning centre operator, which owes close to A$1bn, was teetering on the verge of collapse according to local media reports amid signs that ABC’s banks had run out of patience.
