GSK shake-up to speed up new drugs

GlaxoSmithKline, the world's second-biggest pharmaceutical company, plans to speed up the development of medicines by shaking up its research and development effort.

The drugs group wants to expand external partnerships and reduce the number of experiments it applies during drug development.
