The business travel experience is proving more stressful and uncomfortable, according to a survey carried out this year by American Express. Nearly half of passengers start feeling stressed on their way to the airport, three-quarters are pretty much freaked out before boarding the plane and nearly as much cannot cope with long check-in queues.

In all, 95 per cent of business travellers find that the experience is as stressful, or worse, than it was a year ago. Give us more legroom, return our bags quickly, and do not make it difficult for us to change our flight times, they beg.
