Best quarter for emerging market funds

Emerging market equity funds had their best quarter as investors switched to riskier assets on rising hopes that the world economy is stabilising.

Inflows to the funds were $26.5bn in the second quarter, according to EPFR. This is the best quarter since the data provider began tracking emerging market equity funds in the early 1990s.
