Spain sweetens deals to lift housing market

Americans have their yard sales while the British unload their unwanted clutter from the boot of their cars.

In recession-hit Spain, meanwhile, bargain-hunters can browse a “property outlet” for their dream home, as banks and developers use ever more novel methods to shift some of the estimated 1.5m unsold new and second-hand homes in the country.
