Shares in Flomerics dipped to 95p in early trading on Wednesday after the Aim-listed engineering software company said that Autodesk had decided not to make an offer.

The shares closed at 101p, below the 104p on offer from Mentor Graphics, the Nasdaq-listed electronic design specialist that launched a hostile bid last month.
