VW under attack over Belgian job losses

Belgium attacked Volkswagen on Tuesday for sacrificing thousands of jobs at its Brussels plant to avoid politically difficult factory closures in the carmaker’s German heartland.

Workers burnt the company flag outside the Brussels factory as trade unions and management met to discuss the job cuts.
