Falling demand hits Vindon Healthcare

Vindon Healthcare warned demand for its environmentally controlled rooms for pharmaceutical testing has slowed, resulting in profits that are expected to be “materially below market expectations”.

Liam Ferguson, chairman, said the company had misjudged the extent to which its pharmaceutical clients would cut spending on capital equipment. The shares fell 2½p to close at 16p.
