EU's probe into textile exports draws China rebuke

Officials for China's textile industry said yesterday the European Union's investigation of Chinese apparel exports was discriminatory and could damage trade relations.

However, Cao Xinyu, of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, said it had advised its members to be "reserved in signing new contracts and suspend reaching deals of large quantities".
