Morgan Stanley cuts in Docklands

Morgan Stanley is to vacate a quarter of its office space in Canary Wharf as the wider retrenchment in the investment banking industry begins to have a visible effect on offices in London’s Docklands financial district.

Canar WharfThe bank said that it would exercise a break in its lease at 20 Cabot Square, allowing it to leave 345,500 sq ft of office space by February next year. The bank will remain in two other offices totalling just over 1m sq ft.
