Crude jumps towards $65 on upbeat Opec

Crude oil prices charged towards the $65-a-barrel level after Opec delivered an upbeat assessment of demand conditions at the oil producer group’s meeting in Vienna on Thursday.

Nymex July West Texas Intermediate rose $1.20 to $64.65 a barrel after reaching $64.99, a fresh seven-month high. ICE July Brent gained $1.53 at $64.03 a barrel.
