The pleasure grounds of Euston Hall in Suffolk – the country seat of the Duke of Grafton – were designed in the 17th century by Charles II’s courtier, John Evelyn, and in the 18th century by William Kent and Capability Brown. Now they are being restored, and the current Duke, better known as Harry Grafton, has come up with some modern fundraising ideas, such as a rhythm and blues festival.
