IN Style

Dress by Jil Sander

This is a light grey cotton dress. This is one of my favourite labels because it’s comfortable but understated with really clean lines – the look that works for me at the office. I wear a lot of blues, blacks, whites and neutrals. I often have very little time in the morning because I am not only getting myself ready but my family too so things need to be simple.

Sweater by Roberto Collina

Laura Ching

In the office, people tend to associate me with sweaters, but not just a boring pullover. This grey sweater is cashmere.

Shoes by Marni

It’s a contrasting wedge heel. The top is black leather and the bottom is a brown wood. I got them in Palo Alto from Bou, which is a neat boutique with curated brands and a number of them are undiscovered. I bought these a year ago when I won the Silicon Valley Entrepreneur of the Year and wore them to that awards ceremony.

Bag by Lupo

This was a gift from my mom when she went to Barcelona so it’s not a label from the US that everyone has. It’s by a designer called Lupo and has a drawstring on the top. I don’t go from bag to bag. I’m a mom of two young children and then there’s my work needs, so I have to use a bag that doesn’t need co-ordination and that fits all my business things.

Necklace by Georg Jensen

It’s a black rope with a sterling pouch at the end. I don’t like to wear a lot of jewellery. This necklace is more about the lines than about wearing a distracting piece. I only need a little to feel complete and polished every day. We recently had a blogger party and I wore this necklace to that.
