Macau’s gambling industry is now thought to be seven times bigger than that of Las Vegas and it remains the only place in China where gambling is legal. But there are factors on the horizon that could threaten its current prestige. As a result, Macau is looking to diversify its tourist industry and open up its residential sector to a wider market.
