Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia is running an information session on its full-time MBA programme at the Embassy of Canada in Moscow. Alumni and the admissions team will be present and refreshments will be provided.

The Institute of Social Innovation at Esade Business School is hosting its annual conference. This year, the focus is on the talent of entrepreneurs as drivers of innovation and social impact. Guest experts include Pamela Hartigan, director of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford university’s Saïd Business School; Lisa Hehenberger, research director at the European Venture Philanthropy Association; and Nicolas Hazard, president of Le Comptoir de l’Innovation.
BI Norwegian Business School is hosting The International Bunker Conference. The conference will include in-depth presentations on the international bunker industry, with the main focus being a close co-operation with industrial partners such as oil companies and ship owners.

Robert Peston is delivering a special lecture: Have we fixed the mess – are the rich economies of the west mended? at Aberystwyth University, which will be followed by a Q&A with Steven McGuire, director of the Welsh university’s school of management and business.

Iese Business School is hosting a two-day conference on the challenges of global leadership. Speakers include Isak Andic, chief executive of Mango and Zhang Wheijiong, dean of Ceibs. The deans and associate deans of Harvard Business School, HEC Paris, IMD, Insead, London Business School, Saïd Business School and Yale School of Management will also be on campus.
