Jörg Rocholl, ESMT

Jörg Rocholl is professor of finance, associate dean of faculty and holder of the Ernst & Young chair in governance and compliance at the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Germany.

His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance and financial intermediation.

Prof Rocholl worked with Boston Consulting Group in Frankfurt and London and Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and New York. He was also a visiting researcher at the Bundesbank’s Economic Research Center in Frankfurt.

Previously, he taught on several programmes, including the EMBA and MBA at Kenan-Flagler Business School in the US.
