The Open University Business School is running a series of free webinars around the subject of leadership as part of Learning at Work Week. They will run for 30 minutes and will feature a lecture/presentation as well as a chance for participants to interact via a Q&A and poll.

Tony Bego, director of career services at the Ivey School at the University of Western Ontario, is running an interactive series in Asia on how to leverage an EMBA for your career. Topics include: How to apply what you learn in the classroom to help your company.

Jody Ford, vice-president of marketplaces at Ebay, is visiting the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business for a lunchtime chat. Jody is a qualified chartered accountant and holds an MBA from Insead.

Thursday – May 22

Join a forum

Durham University Business School is hosting a forum event on energy. Sponsored by the Gus Robinson Foundation, speakers include Tooraj Jamasb, professor of energy economics and co-director Durham Energy Institute, and Sonja Graham, partner at Global Action Plan.

Friday – May 23

Learn about Africa

MBA students at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School are hosting the African Transformations Conference in collaboration with students from the Oxford Africa Society. The aim is to deliver a richer understanding of Africa.
