Improve healthcare

Victor Tabbush, professor at UCLA Anderson School of Management, is speaking at the University of Edinburgh Business School about the healthcare industry. This is a joint event with the Scottish university’s business school and global health academy.

Meet a chief executive

Steve Ballmer, former chief executive at Microsoft, is joining Peter Tufano, dean of the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, in conversation at an informal lunchtime talk. The majority of the event will be questions and answers.

Thursday – March 6

Join a global forum

The Council on Business & Society, a global alliance led by Essec Business School; Keio Business School; Fudan University School of Management; Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth; the University of Mannheim Business School, and Fundação Getulio Vargas, is hosting it’s an annual international forum . Questions up for discussion include: How can technology and innovation improve health access and outcomes? How can different healthcare systems and government policies cope with changing demographics and rapidly increasing costs?

Friday – March 7

Brush up on finance

City University Cass Business School is hosting it’s annual finance conference. The topics this year focus on major sources of growth and volatility that experts see in 2014-2016. There will also be networking opportunities.
