FT wins gold at ACE press awards

Last night the Financial Times won the gold award for Circulation Excellence by a National Newspaper at the Association of Circulation Executives (ACE) Press Awards. The awards acknowledge and celebrate the achievements from publishers, wholesalers, distributors and service providers within the UK.

The judges commented: “The FT not only demonstrated core circulation innovation but also had managed to increase sales despite an increase in cover price”.

The judging panel, which considered circulation sales in relation to overall performance of the market, included Graham Brearley from Advantage, Sally Cartwright from Hello Magazine, Ligel Lomas from News International, Martin Hoskins from BBC Magazines, Chris Collins from ACE and Jayne Dyson from The Network.

ACE is an association of executives drawn from the fields of newspaper and magazine publishing, news wholesaling and distribution and service provision.
