The wine industry produces 3bn litres of unwanted wine every year. Steve Charters, director of research at the School of the Wine & Spirits, Burgundy School of Business says production has expanded dramatically and markets are shifting to new countries. He tells Della Bradshaw, FT business education editor, that business schools have a crucial role to play in helping wine industry participants respond to change.
