To mark the Queen’s jubilee year, the Prince of Wales has launched a project to award “coronation status” to more than 100 meadows across the UK. The aim of the initiative is to record the flowery spaces alive and well in the Queen’s realm, and hopefuly to reverse the loss of up to 97 per cent of the nation’s traditionally-grazed meadows since 1950. These are some of the areas in the spotlight.
