Blairgowrie Farm Shop
Situated in the soft fruit mecca of Scotland, this shop is legendary for superb raspberries and strawberries – picked daily from May to September. It also stocks the world-renowned Stornoway black pudding, made on the Western Isles, and an eclectic selection of meats: local wild boar and buffalo, plus beef, lamb and pork. This long-established farm boasts an impressive shop (formerly a shed) selling a superior range of produce. You’ll find locally grown chillies from Sea Spring Seeds, including the infamous Dorset Naga, spanking fresh vegetables and capacious bags of sprightly salad leaves, all grown on the farm. The well-stocked meat department boasts Washingpool beef, pork and lamb, plus rose veal and goat from local farms.

Situated on the historic Welbeck Estate, this impressive farm shop is famous for its butchery counter, seasonal vegetables and much more. There’s also estate-produced Stichelton cheese, Welbeck Bakehouse breads, ales from Welbeck Abbey Brewery, and Boutique Aromatique chocolates. On Fridays there is a fishmonger selling fish fresh from Grimsby docks.
