The Financial Times brought an afternoon of light relief to Londoners coping with the snow and the current financial climate today.
A team of St Bernard dogs with copies of the Financial Times around their necks could be seen in Canary Wharf and Bank offering free copies of the Financial Times and a warming glass of brandy to passers by.
A nip of brandy was also welcomed when the dogs paid a visit to London media agencies. Agency staff took a well-earned break as the dogs took a walk round the offices and presented them with a special FT-branded bottle of brandy labelled ‘Here for you, whatever the financial climate.’
The dogs were used to follow up on the FT’s recent ‘St Bernard’ poster campaign, seen across London stations in December, and a similar St Bernard themed event held at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The campaign emphasises the Financial Times’ position as a trusted source of global business news, providing expert analysis that you can turn to in troubled times.
