The Financial Times accepts guest submissions on any topic for the comment (op- ed) page in the newspaper or on our website. Only send original work; we do not reprint material that has been printed elsewhere or published on the internet.
Please send submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your message should include:
We have a near-unbending aversion to joint bylines on the op-ed page. You must be able to take full credit for your piece.
We read all submissions promptly, but because we receive so many, we are unable reply unless there is a possibility of publication. If we have not made contact within three days, you are free to take your work elsewhere. Editors will not be able to discuss unsolicited material if reached by phone.
Advice for would-be opinion writers can be found here.
Letters should be at most 400 words long, and have a better chance of being published if they are considerably shorter.
To submit a letter to the editor for publication on the letters page, please email email@example.com
