Jacket by Ralph Lauren

I’ve had this black corduroy blazer for two years. I was looking for something like this around the time that our Mondrian SoHo hotel opened and I wore this to the opening party. In my job operating hotels, which have nightclubs and restaurants, my clothes have to be day to night. Jackets have to go with jeans during the day and look more sharp and formal later.

IN Style

Cardigan by Theory

I wear lots of layers, especially during winter in New York, and this black cashmere zip-up is nice and soft, fits nicely under my blazer and is not too bulky. Also there’s nothing that says what the brand is. I would never wear something that’s labelled front and centre.

Shirt by Paul & Joe

I bought this white button-down shirt in Paris when I was there last summer. Collar stays on shirts are my ultimate nemesis because I lose them. This shirt has a small, narrow collar and doesn’t require them, so it has become my staple.

Ring by Fred Leighton

This is my wedding ring as well as a family keepsake; inside is inscribed “Mazel”, which is both the Jewish word for “luck”, as well as the initials of my family’s names – mine, my wife Amy and our three girls, Zoe, Estelle and Livia. I don’t wear any other jewellery but this is important to me.

Belt by Prada

This was a Father's day present. It’s a reversible leather belt that’s black on one side and brown on the other. It was given to me by my mother-in-law because she was tired of me stealing her husband’s belts.

Jeans by Rag & Bone

These are dark denim and slim fit. I feel much more comfortable meeting our guests wearing jeans rather than in a suit.

Socks by Happy Socks

I was staying in our Delano hotel in South Beach, Miami, recently and ran out of socks. In the rooms we have these “Shop Boxes”; a fun box of things you might need during your stay. I opened the box, found these socks and I’ve been a fan ever since.

Shoes by John Varvatos

What I love about these boots is that they are incredibly durable. They’re good in any weather plus they look right in a boardroom and a nightclub.
