ESCP Europe is hosting a conference on the international art market in London. The conference is organised with the school’s specialised Master in International Wealth Management. Edward Schneider, board member of The Fine Art Group, London, will present a class on art as an asset.

Attend a seminar

Irina Mihailova, a researcher from Aalto School of Business in Finland, is running a business seminar at the University of Sydney Business School. The seminar will focus on innovative Russian companies.

An information session is taking place at TiasNimbas Business School. Led by the academic director, the session will include tips on how to finance your education.

Learn from music

Pianist and conductor Marios Papadopoulos is hosting a lunchtime workshop at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, where he directs the Oxford Philomusica. He will illustrate some of the challenges of his work with reference to the Beethoven Cycle and explain the process of rehearsing an orchestra from both a musical and managerial point of view.

Focus on China

Ambassador Zhang Junsai, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Canada is speaking at the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management. He will discuss China’s role in the world economy.

Thursday – Jan 23

Study in two countries

Mannheim Business School in Germany is running an online information session on its executive MBA with Tongji University in China. The programme structure, content and admission procedure will be discussed.

Tackle the international markets

In its first business insights seminar series, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School is focusing on the renminbi in Hong Kong and its use as an international invoicing currency.

Network in the US

Alumni from Chicago Booth School of Business, MIT Sloan, Harvard and other business schools are attending an evening reception hosted by alumni of NYU Stern. The event will feature Jason Greenberg, assistant professor of management at NYU Stern, exploring the dynamics of teamwork and management in entrepreneurial environments.
