Euro-sceptic parties made big gains across Europe in Sunday’s European Parliamentary elections, with anti-establishment parties gaining in support across the continent.

France’s Front National, Britain’s Ukip, the Danish People’s party and Syriza in Greece all topped their country’s EU parliamentary elections.

This interactive graphic shows the composition of the new parliament broken down by political group and country.

This graphic has been amended to reflect the correct breakdown of results by party in some countries. In an earlier version of this graphic, the number of seats won by some parties was not correctly listed in the bar chart at the foot of the graphic.
