Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones indulges his love of the organ on his new project Minibus Pimps, but not in a way liable to please Zep fans hoping for a blast of “Your Time Is Gonna Come”.
Its tones appear on Cloud to Ground’s title track, one of four atmospheric electronic instrumentals semi-improvised with Norwegian avant-gardist Helge Sten, all gloomy drones and absorbing textures, strange sounds flickering in the shadows like sinister shapes.
