HM Treasury provides details of the chancellor's speeches, economic forecasts, news releases and links to related Treasury documents. It has a pre-Budget section with links to previous statements.
The Bank of England site includes a news release section that contains the minutes from previous Monetary Policy Committee meetings, a statistical press release section that contains the latest statistical releases and publications, as well as working papers.
The HM Customs & Excise site is divided into two sections: one for the general public and one for businesses. It includes information regarding VAT in the UK and recently amended publications.
Inland Revenue, the online home of the tax authorities, offers information on all aspects of taxation policy and help with self-assessment. The site includes a press release section with all Inland Revenue Budget and pre-Budget publications.

Deloitte & Touche - the UK practice of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu offers a hot topics section and a pop-up window on the 2005 Budget.
Ernst & Young UK provides a sections dedicated to the 2005 Budget. The Tax News and Online Publications section contains information from tax experts. KPMG is offering its predictions on the public finances. Its pre-Budget 2005 section has a special emphasis on UK taxation policy for both private users and businesses.

The British Retail Consortium site contains news on the retail industry and information on shopping in the UK.
The Confederation of British Industry has up-to-date news of interest to UK businesses. The site also allows users to read up on policy work with guides to topics such as economic and monetary union, economics and taxes.
The Engineering Employers Federation site has a news section and various publications available.
The Forum of Private Business represents small business in the UK and the EU. Current campaigns concern uniform business rates; employment red tape; training and skills; fuel costs; and banking.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport was formed in June 1999, after the integration of the Institute of Logistics and The Chartered Institute of Transport. The institute manages a number of special interest groups.
NUT - The National Union of Teachers site contains informative resources for teachers in the UK.
