Fred Collopy is the senior associate dean, professor and department chair of information systems at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. His research includes business forecasting, visualisation and the application of design ideas to management.
He has designed several software products including the desk organiser (published by Warner Software), rule-based forecasting (an expert system to select among alternative business forecasting models) and business animator (an interactive representation of accounting and financial information).
Prof Collopy has a PhD in decision sciences from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
