Leeds professor wins Viipuri prize

Peter Buckley, professor of international business and director of the Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds, has been named the third recipient of the Viipuri prize in strategic management and business economics at the Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland.

Prof Buckley, a fellow of the Academy of International Business, has been awarded the prize for his “outstanding record in the field of international business research”.

Prof Buckley is the third recipient of the prize: the first two recipients of the Viipuri prize were David Teece from Berkeley and James March from Stanford.
