Babson College and Banco Santander have formed a partnership to promote programmes with institutions in South America.

The collaboration between the bank and the Wellesley, Massachusetts-based school will include the training of faculty from South American universites at Babson College and overseas in the fields of entrepreneurship and global management.

It will also support approximately 15-20 students from South America to study entrepreneurship and global management at Babson.

The partnership is part of the bank’s efforts through Santander Universities Global Division to support academic projects developed by universities around the world.

Babson is recognised internationally as one of the leaders in entrepreneurial management education. It already has partnerships with universities in Saint Petersburg, Russia and Tsinghua in China, that in turn have relationships with Santander.
