The European accreditation body EFMD has joined forces with alumni networking specialists Graduway to help member business schools manage their alumni networks.

The relationship will help participating schools to provide career services and mentoring as well as raise funds and promote executive education, says Graduway chief executive Daniel Cohen.

“Most schools have simply lost touch with a significant number of their alumni, their databases are missing basic information and engagement is at low levels,” he says. “We are delighted to be partnering with EFMD to offer their member schools an easy way to stay in touch with their alumni and to start to maximise the huge value their alumni have to offer.’’

Eric Cornuel, director general EFMD, which runs the Equis accreditation system, says the relationship will help business schools reach their potential. “Having strong alumni relations and providing dynamic and engaged alumni networks are vital areas for any business school.”

Graduway already works with a number of international business schools including Coppead in Brazil, ESMT in Germany, the Rotman school in Canada, and St Gallen in Switzerland.
