Norma Cohen has been the FT's property correspondent since August 1997. Her column appears every Thursday.
She has been employed at the Financial Times since 1988, covering a variety of areas including the pensions and fund management industries and international capital markets.
Before coming to the FT, she worked as a journalist for Reuters in New York and London, covering economic and monetary policy and US and international debt markets. She studied politics and history at City College of New York and obtained an MSc from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
