Correction - 2016 US fuel efficiency standards; Alfred Eskandar

Published: May 20 2009 03:00 | Last updated: May 20 2009 03:00

* An article in some editions on May 19 misstated the 2016 fuel efficiency standards proposed by the Obama administration as 42 miles per gallon for cars and 26.2mpg for light trucks. The standards are 39mpg for cars and 30mpg for light trucks.

* Alfred Eskandar is director of corporate strategy at Liquidnet, not chief executive, as wrongly stated in an article on May 19.
