Toulouse Business School in France is working with the local law school and industry to create what is arguably the first chair in the business of space. Research will focus on law and management for activities in the space sector.

Toulouse is a world centre for the space and aerospace industry - indeed a cluster of 150 small and medium-sized enterprises, engineering schools, universities, and research laboratories around Toulouse have earned themselves the title Aerospace Valley.

The Sirius chair - Sirius stands for Space Institute for Researchers on Innovative Uses of Satellites - has been set up for an initial five-year period and the resources will be used to fund research, including the supervision of PhD students.

Toulouse Business School is already recognised for its Aerospace MBA, designed to train international managers from the air transportation, aeronautics, and space sectors, and which is taught on both a full-time and part-time basis. The schools has campuses in Barcelona and Casablanca as well as Toulouse.
