Jacket by Toni Sailer

This jacket is both classic and highly functional, which makes it great for the variety of skiing that I do. Typically, I manage to spend two or three weeks a year skiing with my family during the holidays at Christmas, Easter and even in the summer, as we are able to ski on the glacier above Tignes, France, where I have an apartment. I like to dress appropriately for every occasion, whether that be a corporate meeting, dinner with Bentley owners or for a recreational event such as skiing.

Snow pants by Toni Sailer

I bought these snow pants on my last visit to Aspen from Ted Davenport at Miller Sports. Since I tend to wear black or navy in my professional life, I like to wear something a little more colourful during my recreational time. Ted, who is an extreme-skier and base jumper, persuaded me that orange was the way to go. Growing up as a junior ski racer, I spent a considerable amount of time in ski race suits – these days, I like my ski kit to be a little bit more contemporary.

Watch by Breitling

I bought Breitling’s Emergency model when it was launched, as I wanted a watch that would be suitable for the variety of sports that I enjoy. I hope I never have the need for the emergency beacon function but, for sure, I will be wearing this on my next ski trip: back-country cat-skiing in Irwin, Colorado.

Helmet by Giro Seam

I always wore a helmet when skiing competitively and I now do so when skiing recreationally. In Tignes I keep a special Bentley-branded helmet that was given to me by Ted Davenport after he completed a wing-suit flying demonstration for Bentley in Aspen a couple of years ago.

Boots by Lange

I have always skied in a pair of Lange race boots. It is essential that a boot holds my foot both securely and comfortably. I started skiing when I was three years old, and joined a junior racing programme when I was seven. I stayed on it until I was 14 or 15. Since then I have skied as much as I have been able to. I hope that I have not slowed down too much since my racing days.
