JD Sports taps teenage market

JD Sports Fashion was once again the envy of its high street rivals after reporting better-than-expected profits and a promising start to the new year as young shoppers clamour for its brands.

The UK’s third-largest sportswear retailer by turnover said its 2007 acquisition of Bank, a fashion chain, was helping to boost revenue as growth in its sports division was slowing.
