Mothercare eyes further Indian expansion

Mothercare has announced a big expansion of its plans to move into India after signing a new joint venture with one of that country’s largest real estate companies.

The mother and baby goods retailer already planned to open 100 stores in India, but following a deal with DF Brands, an Indian real estate company, it has now doubled that to 200.
