All the cash in China

Beijing has the lion’s share of China’s upper class, according to the Hurun Report, which compiles lists of China’s wealthy. The city boasts 143,000 people with personal wealth of more than Rmb 10m ($1.46m) and 8,800 super-rich with more than Rmb 100m. Shanghai is in second place, with 116,000 multimillionaires and 7,000 people with more than Rmb 100m.
