The small business sector is experiencing inflation for the first time in six months, according to the latest quarterly cost measure compiled by Warwick Business School.

The cost of running a small business rose 2.2 per cent during the second quarter of this year, compared with a decline of 1.4 per cent in the first three months of the year and a 2.9 per cent decline in the last quarter of 2008.
