EU members warned on corporate tax plan delays

European Union plans to introduce a harmonised corporate tax base could suffer delays unless member states step up their preparations for the mammoth project, the European Commission warned on Wednesday.

Brussels is keen to replace the current patchwork of national corporate tax regimes with a pan-European approach towards calculating a company’s tax base.
