Obama extends presidential winning streak

Barack Obama beat his rival Hillary Clinton in the Wisconsin primary and Hawaii caucuses on Tuesday night, with ten consecutive victories in the Democratic presidential race.

The victories reinforced Mr Obama’s status as Democratic frontrunner and left Mrs Clinton in desperate need of convincing wins in Texas and Ohio on March 4 to revive her faltering campaign.
