Pertamina settles power dispute

Pertamina, Indonesia's state oil company, will pay $319m to Karaha Bodas, a US energy company, to draw a line under a seven-year dispute over a cancelled geothermal power project.

The announcement from Pertamina came as it abandoned a lengthy legal battle to overturn an arbitration ruling against it.
