Apple to cut UK prices for iTunes

Apple became the latest US technology company to bow to European regulators when it agreed to cut the prices for music downloads on its UK iTunes website.

The move by Apple to resolve a case brought by European Commission came after Microsoft admitted defeat in its nine-year battle with the antitrust authority in October.
